Cause

The Middle Passage was a triangular route for ships transporting commercial goods from Africa, Europe, Caribbean and Americas. This journey was one of the most horrific experiences for Slaves who were considered goods and therefore expendable. Torture, Starvation, Disease and Inhumane living conditions were some of the tragedies to face Slaves on this journey to a new world.

When resources became scarce Slaves were thrown overboard. In fear of being captured for illegal slave trading. When the harsh conditions became too hard to bare, Slaves would jump overboard.

History can be deep and dark but will always be transparent just like water. CAUSE and Effect, remember which one came first.
